Fraeylemaborg

Sunnuntaina me siis lähdettiin pienelle retkelle Simpan kaa. Olin alkuviikosta elätelly toiveita viikonloppumatkasta joko Hollannin sisällä tai jossain Belgiassa, mutta mun oli tyydyttävä Fraeylemaborgiin, 20 km Groningesta. Mutta se oli kyllä suloinen paikka sellasella puolen päivän reissulle! Me hypättiin kahden maissa bussiin numero 78 Slochtereen (aikataulut tästä linkistä: QbuzzGroningen) ja takasin oltiin 7 aikaan illalla. Fraeylemaborg on siis vanha linna ja taitaapa olla ainoa täällä Pohjois-Hollannin suunnalla. Linnassa asui aikoinaan tärkeitä vaikuttajia Groningesta ja tällä hetkellä se toimii museona ja huoneet on pyritty jättämään mahdollisimman alkuperäisen näköisiksi. Kun maksoi 6€ pääsi sisälle kiertelemään huoneisiin. Lisäks linnan takana oli iiiiso puisto, jonne moni pari ja perhe oli tullu sunnutaikävelylle. Oli vieläpä ihanaa, että Hollantiin oli tullu joku kuuma aalto ja lämpötila oli jossain parikymmenessä asteessa! Oikein mukava tapa sivistyä ja virkistyä sunnuntai päivänä ja kaiken lisäks tajusin, että jotta voisin olla 100% onnellinen tyttö, mun pitäis asua linnassa :)

On Sunday we had a litte trip with Simon. The whole week I was hoping a weekend trip somewhere in Holland or in Belgium but I had to be happy with Fraeylemaborg, 20 kilometers away from Groningen.  But it was a cute place for a half day trip! Around 2 we took a bus number 78 to Slochteren (the schedule is here QbussGroningen) and 7 in the evening we were back home. Fraeylemaborg is an old castle and I think the only one here in the north of Holland. Some important people use to live in the castle and nowadays it is a museum. They have made the rooms look as original as they could and with 6 euros you go inside the castle and wonder around the rooms. Behind the castle there was also a biiiig park were many couples and families had come for a sunday walk. And how lovely it was that some kind of a hot wave had arrived to Holland and it was almost 20 degrees outside! Really nice way to get civilized and refreshed on Sunday and I aso realized that to become 100% happy girl, I should be living in a castle :)
